Bio

Drop dead playboys is the musical mind of Daniel Curcio.

Daniel is an American bassist/songwriter from New Jersey, currently residing in London. The band is entirely made up of bass & drums using various pedal effects to achieve guitar-like sounds. Using heavy riffs, dark undertones & strong lyrical concepts. Taking inspiration from people he has performed alongside such as Deftones, Marilyn Manson, Tom Morello etc.

Daniel was born and raised in New Jersey before finding out he had a long lost brother in Los Angeles, California. Upon going to meet his brother he joined budding alternative rock band Beware of Darkness. Not long after, the band was signed to Bright Antenna records/Universal publishing and on tour all around the world with some of the biggest names in rock music. Landing spots on late night television & reaching top 10 on radio billboard. This was the beginning of a long 10 years as a touring bass player for various successful bands.

The music is for fans of Queens of the Stone Age, Marilyn Manson & Royal Blood.  “I like to think I play a genre called goth-rock, without the clown makeup”. - Daniel.
